Ministry to Seniors

A Christ-Centered, Independent Living Community

Greetings from the Executive Director

I have been blessed to serve the Church of God for the past 39 years. During my tenure of service, I am confident God has placed just the right persons in my path to be mentors who invested in my life and prepared me for this moment in time. Having the privilege to serve as the director of the SpiritCare Center residents has been a highlight of my ministry. I serve alongside men and women of God who love unconditionally. Even though they are no longer in full-time ministry assignments, each one finds a way to use their gifts and talents for the Lord. They are willing to serve as musicians, worship leaders, guest speakers for chapel services, greeters, generous givers of their time and energy for whatever projects we may do.

The SpiritCare Center is a place for those who want to live independently in their retirement years and also have the opportunity to live in community with other Christian believers. They pray for one another, they show respect and kindness to one another, love their fellowship time, and the convenience of affordable living.

I am grateful for the honor to serve as the executive director and to carry on the dream of Iris B. Vest. I believe the future is bright for those who have chosen to call the SpiritCare Center their home!
