Giving Back to the Community in 2024!

The Iris B Vest SpiritCare Center is nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Surrounding the Center is the mountains, black bears, Cade’s Cove, the lights and attractions of Gatlinburg, and the busyness of tourists which often creates a traffic backup at our well-known Exit 407!

However, amidst the wonder of the Great Smoky Mountains is also the need for our local police department, fire department, and the EMT’s. Our local businesses such as Lowe’s, Blaylock’s, Ogle’s repair, to name just a few…are all necessary to our community.

The residents at the SpiritCare Center are very grateful to all of our businesses, to those who keep us safe, and to those who will come to assist if someone has fallen or if they need to be taken to the emergency room….we feel very blessed by those who watch over us!

The Center has adopted a tradition of sending three to four of our residents with smiles, a word of thanks, and a couple dozen donuts to say thank you to those who make a difference.

Thank you to Danny Mendel, Pat Wetzel, Peggy Grover and Jean Hetherington for representing the SpiritCare Center in this endeavor for 2024.
