Joyce Jones, Our Happy Helper!

Not many churches or organizations can successfully make it without people who are willing to give of themselves and serve. It is a truth we experience every day at the Iris B. Vest SpiritCare Center.

Recently, we celebrated Joyce Mauldin Jones for her eight years as a Happy Helper volunteer. Our volunteers dubbed the title Happy Helper because they love volunteering and making a difference for others. Ms. Joyce has been an excellent example of this title. She loves to greet visitors and make them feel welcomed and loved.

Joyce has served as a Happy Helper under the leadership of Rev. Sandra Melcher Miley and with the current Director, Dr. Pamela Kay Overbey. She has a gentle spirit and is willing to do whatever she can to assist others. Joyce loves sharing the love of God and His goodness through caring for others.
